Go World, Vol. 2

In Mexico City 1968, Soviet freestyle wrestler Boris Hurevych won gold in the middleweight division. Along the way, he stood across wrestlers from the Bahamas, Poland, Great Britain, Cuba, Mongolia and Bulgaria.

For him, while gold may have been a step up, standing across from six different nations was a step down. Because a decade earlier, he served as the model for the statue 'Swords Into Plowshares' that stands to this day in the garden of the United Nations.
